Alexander Göttling zu Abendroth erwarb das Rittergut Wenigenauma im Jahre 1853, nachdem er von seinem Onkel eine reiche Erbschaft hinterlassen bekommen hatte.
Er lebte hier auf dem Rittergut, getrennt von seiner Frau, mit seinen 3 Töchtern.
Herr von Abendroth war botanisch sehr interessiert. Er legte rund um Wenigenauma die kleinen Laubwald-Haine an und baute in der Gegend die gesamte Forstwirtschaft auf.
Die 3 Blutbuchen pflanzte er zu Ehren seiner 3 Töchter. Sie werden jetzt so um die 150 Jahre alt sein. Alexander Göttling zu Abendroth ist übrigens genau der, dem wir den Alexanderplatz und den Göttlingstein, nahe Silberfeld, zu verdanken haben.
